What is TELE MEDICINE?

Telemedicine (which may also be referred to as "telehealth", "e-health" or "virtual healthcare") "seeks to improve a patient's health by permitting two-way, real time interactive communication between the patient, and the physician or practitioner at the distant place. This electronic communication means the use of interactive telecommunications equipment that includes, at a minimum, audio and video devices."

Telemedicine is two-way, real-time interactive communication between a patient and healthcare provider at a distant site, supported by audio and video equipment and integrated medical devices. Advances in IT infrastructure, communication and connected medical devices are enabling clinicians to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients remotely.

History

Our first tele medicine hospital started in March 2016, Punjab (India)

We plan to open 1000 tele medicine hospitals by next two years. Primary Healthcare Hospitals's mission is to make healthcare affordable to every citizen of India and the World. Our goal as mentioned by our founder is "to bring the doctors closer to the patients where ever they are in the world."
